2. Where is ZJTIE located?

Zhejiang Technology Institute of Economy, 66 Xuezheng Street, HEDA, Xiasha, Hangzhou, Zhejiang Province, China

3. What about the workload?

Normal class teaching: 16-18 periods/week(45 minutes / period).

4. Student's age and their English proficiency:

Students at the age of 18-22, mainly English major who all can read, write and speak English

5. Class-size:

25-40 people/class

6. Teaching course and textbooks:

We have different courses for different classes, such as Listening & Speaking, Reading, Writing, ect. Each course has it’s own book. And we often renew textbooks.

7. Any other teaching activities outside the normal teaching?

1) Office Hour (≤ 3 Hour/week), mainly teaching seminar each Tuesday afternoon.

2) English activity organizing 2-3 times each week,2 hours at most each time.

8. Monthly Salary:

It depends on the teacher’s education degree，working experience and workload per week, may range from RMB 5000 to 6000 yuan.

9. What about the accommodation?

We provide lodging (with a bedroom, a living room, a bathroom including toilet, a kitchen)with furniture, bedding, local telephone (IP long distance call with fare covered by the employed party), television, refrigerator, air conditioner , and internet access.

10. Where is the apartment for foreign teachers?

On or close to the campus.

11. Transportation?

Free school bus services between the campus and city center for foreign teachers in its runtime.

12. Full-paid vacation?

Yes, once a year, a month each time，in winter or summer vacation.

13. Free medical care? Any medical insurance?

We offer foreign teachers free medical care in appointed hospitals for foreigners. There is no medical insurance for foreign teachers.

14. Free meals?

Foreign teachers can have meals in the dinning hall. But they are not free. Foreign teacher can cook themselves as they wish in the kitchen at home.

15．Any traveling allowance?

The traveling allowance is already included in the full-paid vacation pay.

Requirement

18. Teaching qualifications

1) English culture, literature, writing, reading, speaking courses and so on will be favorable.

2) A TESOL or CELTA Certificate is necessary if you are not majored in relevant fields.

3) No distinct or strange accent in speaking.

19. Experience

One-year teaching experience at least

20. Nationality

We give priority to candidates from US, UK, Australia, Canada, and New Zealand.
